New Video: Rc $pitta – All the Fonk

It wasn't too long ago when Rc $pitta dropped the video for the atmospheric single "The Dreamer," and now the kid is back with another set of visuals. The song in question "All the Fonk" and is as aggressive as they come.  On this one, he recruits producer 808nahaj for a hard-hitting banger that accentuates his fiery and bravado lyrics. Rc $pitta doesn't shy from switching things up, as the dynamics of the song change in the middle to a more melodic delivery.

The visuals capture the young emcee with his crew chilling at some spots. The first half shows scenes from a warehouse and a bar, while the latter half has a more solemn feel due to the change in tempo of the song itself. The video was directed and filmed by Time Slew. The release of "All the Fonk" precedes his highly anticipated album Time to Live, available on all platforms August 16.

New Music: iiiso - Above Love

iiiso releases his new 5 track EP titled 'Above Love'. Just as the title suggests, the project dwells on the mechanics and unpredictable dynamics of being in a relationship. The entire project was produced by HushdeGod whose ethereal textures add a sublime touch to iiiso's reflective lyrics and subject matter that alternates between looking outward at the person he loves and inward at his own demons.

The opening track "Time 4 You," celebrates the restorative powers of being in love, with iiiso utilizing a melodic style flow to great effect as he deliberates on his girl loving him despite all of his regret and shame. Other tracks, like the video game-esque sounding"Homeostasis", recognize that the storm is never far away, as iiiso wonders if he will ever reach the kind of emotional consistency and mental health his partner deserves.

The final two tracks see iiiso conquering inner demons. On the upbeat finale, "How You Like That," he is even defiant. Over Hush's slick trap beat, iiiso's rapping and lyrical skills are on full display as he spits daggers at the obstacles and events that have threatened to hold him back in life and in love.

'Above Love' manages to cover a wide spectrum of emotions as iiiso's aim was to make songs that allow the producer to shine, using introspective, love-centered lyrics and laid-back vocal melodies to accentuate producer HushDeGod's unique musical style and atmospheric beats.
