The southwest region hosts a variety of artists that locate themselves here. Rappers in this region are sometimes typical, with similar sounds that have a heavy incidence of “old head” mentality. When something that steps outside that realm it really helps develop that artist to a greater audience. This artist manages to rap completely different than most of the regions style hosts. He instead of having an over complicated string of overly rhymed words, this artist relies on a tough street sound that is heavy bass, energy filled and overall lit.

The album features music from the industry’s top names: Desiigner, Tory Lanez, Kevin Gates, Famous Dex, Jadakiss, Benny the Butcher and producers London on da Track and Zaytoven, among others. 

Jess Classic was born and raised on the East Side of Buffalo, NY. He found his passion for music at the age of 11 and has been going non-stop ever since; writing, performing and touring. He drew influences from hip hop legends like Nas, Biggie, Jay-Z and 2Pac; combining this with his own life experiences and musical style to create a unique sound. Coming off a recent tour in Europe, Jess Classic is set to perform at this year's SXSW Conference and in the process, he plans to set the world ablaze with his new record.
