Michael Harbut The Entrepreneur Is A Man That Wears Many Hats

Michael Harbut The Entrepreneur Is A Man That Wears Many Hats

Michael Harbut is an American rapper, songwriter, record producer, and
author, among other things. He has worked as an actor, movie producer,
music video director and producer, celebrity booking agent, music
industry adviser, public speaker, and entrepreneur. In the years
between 2008 and 2022, he worked in shadows in the film, television,
and music industries.

He has collaborated with a wide array of people,
including company owners, actors, actresses, musicians, entrepreneurs,
brands, celebrities, investors, big record labels, independent record
labels, production firms, producers, politicians, and directors. He
also collaborated with NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB, PGA, ATP, NASCAR, Boxing,
and other elite sportsmen. He has experience working with a wide range
of clients, including startups, Fortune 500 firms, tech startups, and
more. Although he was born in Ohio, he spent his formative years in
both his hometown and various locations across the Golden State. While
he was growing up, he shuttled me back and forth between Compton and
Oakland, California, and Dayton, Ohio. In Dayton, Ohio, he attended
Meadowdale High School for one year (the ninth grade). When he was cut
from the freshman basketball team, he decided to drop out of school.
For this reason, he skipped the first two and a half years of high
school and then enrolled at Belmont High School, where he played
varsity basketball for a single year.

After that, the Ohio High School
Athletic Association (OHSAA) informed him that he could no longer play
high school basketball under the Clair Muscaro OHSAA’s jurisdiction.
So he moved away from Ohio to go to Redemption Christian Academy, a
prep school in Troy, New York. His teammate Lamar Odom went on to win
an NBA championship with the Los Angeles Lakers and play for several
more teams. He had to return to Ohio when his time at Redemption
Christian Academy ended owing to commitments with his family there.
Later, he completed his education at Belmont High School in Dayton,
Ohio. He enrolled at Central State University and spent a year there
after finishing high school. When he was done with his studies at
Central State University, he transferred to Clark State Community
College to play basketball and earn his Associate of Arts degree in
Elementary Education.

He then attended Upper Iowa University, where he
played college basketball and received a bachelor’s degree in business
marketing. After finishing college, he stayed at Wells Fargo Financial
through 2008. He left following the 2008 market and housing collapse.
He then embarked on a journey of discovery, moving from place to place
in search of work and a new identity. Later, he decided to start
Bottom2thatop Entertainment which is a multi-entity company. He was
the CEO and co-founder of Global Music Distribution, Music Royalty
Financing, IAM Feeling Good CBD and Hemp Company, Hoops and Vacation,
Authentic Digital Marketing, Jetsetters Booking Agency, Linked
Management, Solar Energy ASAP, Bottom2thatop Records, Authentic
Creative Marketing. Jetsetters Marketing & Management Group Worldwide
TM, and a few more companies are all under his leadership and
direction. Furthermore, he and his son Michael Anderson have published
more than fifty children’s books and have plans to publish an
autobiography in addition to a number of works of fiction, novels, and
nonfiction. This man splits his time between the cities of Miami,
California, and Las Vegas.

Since he was 7 years old till he was 23
years old, he played basketball, and it is his favorite sport. He was
a player at every level from the Amateur Athletic Union through High
School to Prep School to College. It’s been a long time since he last
picked up a basketball, and that was in college. His original goal in
life was to become a professional basketball player for the NBA, but
since that didn’t work out, he’s moved on to pursue other passions in
the arts, including business, entertainment, and music. Over the
course of his career, he has collaborated with numerous companies,
including Jordan Tower Films, Worldstarhiphop, Universal Music Group,
Livenation, ICM, Willaim Morris, CAA, Def Jam Records, MMP, New Money
Twinz, Artest Media Group, and more.

He has faith in Allah, and he
loves his mom, his kids, his family, his friends, his team, and his
coworkers. His message is, “Never give up and always put Allah first.”
What doesn’t destroy you makes you stronger, he adds. With Allah’s
help and your own determination, you may accomplish anything. Keep
your mind on the task at hand, and learn to appreciate yourself, your
fellow man, and your existence. Stick to the established norms.
Knowledge and love, in the name of Allah, are potent weapons.

National Author Shontel Greene Is All Smiles Right Now

All smiles for National Author Shontel Greene after book sales hit over 10,000 units the first week of the release of Mastermind. The unforgiving urban environment of Baltimore City has produced many prolific individuals. From Elite athletes and actors to legendary entertainers and musicians, Baltimore’s unique street culture and demographic structure churn out individuals who seem impervious to the volatile ebb and flow of inner-city life. Many have overcome insurmountable challenges and have succeeded as a result but no one has a story quite like Shontel Greene’s. The product of a pair of drug-addicted parents, Shontel made the decision to become a drug dealer at the impressionable age of 14.

Though her environment repeatedly affirmed that her life expectancy may not stretch beyond her late teenage years, she consciously decided that she would defy the odds and secure a future beyond the dilapidated streets she hustled on. Shontel set clear goals and through her determination, she would go on to follow her dreams and become a registered nurse, like her mother, before her fall to heroin. Shontel’s accomplishments hardly end after her entry into the Nursing world, she currently holds a Masters Degree in Nursing and is in graduate school at LaSalle University, seven months away from her (DNP) Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. She is set to receive her degree in May 2023 Academic pursuits aside, Shontel currently owns two businesses.

The first, More Than Just Friends Adult Medical Day Center, serves as a wholesome space to host patients throughout the day with medication therapy, as well as activities and events meant to keep them mentally and physically strong. The second, Nursez R Us, is a residential service agency providing adult dependent care to qualifying citizens in the state of Maryland. 95% of clients come from the underserved population of those receiving state Medicaid and federal Medicare assistance. As a multi million-dollar business, Nursez R Us ranked #96 in Black Enterprise two years in a row for one of the largest growing Black-owned businesses. New Music: Dobey Dobe - Filthy | @DobeyDobe

New Music: Dobey Dobe - Filthy

These days, there is a lot of talent within and right outside the industry. Making his transit from the outside is the very well-versed Dobey Dobe. He is making a statement yet-again with his newest single “Filthy”

Nothing short of a banger, this song is guaranteed to get you on your feet. This is the type of song you’ll hear around people on the move, working out, and maybe even recording the next viral dance!

A lot of artists nowadays have great talent and will do really well within music, based on the way the game of the independent artist is set up. You really don't need a label to make a full time income and live happily off your music and own your masters.

But there are very few artists that will change the game, rock the core of the music industry to the point where people's minds will be blown and they will not look at music the same again. Dobey Dobe is one of the artists holding  the potential to become one of the greats to ever touch the mic.

With that being said, go ahead and press play on the record that will motivate you to get in motion. Surely, you'll have this contagious anthem on repeat. Click the link below to listen right now.

Madison Street Designs Founder Tiffany Veney Always Believed There Was Bigger

Madison Street Designs Founder Tiffany Veney Always Believed There Was Bigger

I’m Tiffany Veney born and raised in the inner city of East Baltimore. My background is typical of any inner-city child in the 80s. My mother was addicted to drugs, my father was in prison, and I was raised by my grandmother. Since I was the oldest of 7 kids, I was tasked with taking care of my siblings. I hated it lol. I grew up with the two oldest. Two of them were adopted, one was raised by an extended family member and the baby was raised primarily by his dad. Although my grandmother raised me, I was still in foster care. Despite the struggle, I wouldn’t change anything. I wouldn’t be as resilient today without going through all the challenges I’ve endured.

The only thing I feel sets me apart is that I always believed there was bigger out there for me. I’m blessed to still have been shown a different way out. Whether it was going to the house of the people I worked for (at 12 yes before a work permit), who lived in Essex off the water or being in the Living Classroom Program. I’ve always been determined to not let my situation define me. As a child, I was always intrigued by home renovations. In fact, I really wanted to be a construction worker. I quickly erased that from my mind because I told myself that it was a manly job. I later begged to go to Baltimore Polytechnic Institute because I felt like engineering was the next best thing. In college, I studied architecture then quickly switched my major to Finance. I convinced myself, mainly due to the lack of woman presence in the industry, that I needed to go with a safer field. At 25, I bought my first house. I felt so accomplished and ahead of the game. I made some bad financial decisions and lost it a few years later. I still think Wells Fargo owes me for that due to their unsavory loan modification processes back then, but I digress. I still learned a lot from that situation and one of the most important lessons was the importance of home ownership. Home ownership is a great accomplishment, it can create generational wealth, it becomes an asset you can later leverage and it also gives a great sense of pride in your neighborhood.

I now look at Real Estate as a tool to financial freedom. Whether it’s the property you occupy or one you rent out, there’s several opportunities to make money from real estate. The caveat is also that there’s tons of ways to lose in real estate as well. Before making a purchase, you should look at the current value of homes, their current condition, the cost to bring the home up to date if needed, and if the asking price falls within or under the market price. I decided to get my real estate license when I was 25 but unfortunately that was right when the housing market crashed so I stayed in finance Years later. I tried property management and that was more hands on but not in the right direction. After working for someone else managing their rehab projects for a few years, I decided to start my own business and take on my own projects. I’m still amazed by the transformations that can take place. Whether it’s residential or commercial, I view it as a blank canvas with endless opportunities. I love to be innovative, creative, functional and modern.

Former Motown Records recording artists Clarence KD McNair Gives Insightful Message at Mayor Brandon M. Scott Youth Summit

Former Motown Records recording artists Clarence KD McNair Gives Insightful Message at Mayor Brandon M. Scott Youth Summit

On July 28, 2022, Baltimore Mayor Brandon M. Scott hosted his second annual Youth Summit to connect youth with local entrepreneurs and provide skills for their entrepreneurship or career journey. Getting to the Bag: The Pathways to Business, Entrepreneurship, and Career Development in Baltimore had interactive breakout sessions, panel discussions, professional development activities, and more. Panelists included Deputy Mayor Ted Carter, Marc Broady, and Clarence “KD” McNair. “It was an honor to receive the invitation from the Mayor’s office to give encouraging words to our youth,” McNair said. “It was important for me to discuss how to overcome the challenges in business and  life.” McNair is a Baltimore, Maryland native who began his career as a recording artist and producer in his early teenage years. He landed a music contract with his mother’s help at Motown Records. KD was a part of Prophet Jones. Prophet Jones was an hip-hop\R&B group from Washington, D.C. that consisted of Patrick “P” Rowe, Kevin “K.D.” Jackson, Tony “Hollywood” Dumas and Jerome “Goldee” Lattisaw (who is also known as the brother of R&B singer Stacy Lattisaw). This opportunity led his music group to work with Grammy-awarded music producers. In November 2019, McNair released his first book “Give It One More Try,” to shed light on the importance of mental fitness. He shares the depths of his early traumatic experiences and how he found ways to push for the life he has now. “Most of our challenges sometimes start at home,” McNair said. “Maybe you want to change your family’s future, but there are so many challenges seeking to influence self-doubt. Remember to find value in what’s worth the challenges to stay motivated to achieve your goals.” McNair continued his message by expressing the power of mentorship. He believes that if he realized the value of mentorship as a recording artist, he could have better maximized his opportunities during his career. Today, he is a successful brand architect and author who advocates for programs that help the youth “get ready for obstacles in the world.” Many of his teachings focus on mental health and positive solutions for minorities.
